Job Description : Johnstone Supply of Lansing, a leading wholesaler of HVAC/R products, is seeking a hardworking, organized, team player to join our team in the full time position of Warehouse/ Material Handler.The Material Handler’s primary functions are to accurately pick orders in a timely manner and efficiently receive products to the warehouse from outside sources.*Assure product availability by putting away products, rotating stock, assisting with stock returns and replenishing primary locations*File discrepancies and damage claims*Assist in loading and unloading of delivery and transfer trucks*Receive products and complete all necessary paperwork*Ship orders via UPS, delivery truck or other method of shipments*Deliver products in company truck or vehicle as needed*Maintain a safe work environment by working in a safe manner, following current safety rules, maintaining equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse/ work area.Monday- Friday 7:30am- 5:00pm averaging 40- 42 hours/ weekQualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to attend to detailsAbility to lift 75 pounds on a regular basisMust work safely and carefully to prevent injury to self and others while driving, loading and unloading vehicleAbility to follow instructions and standard work proceduresDedicated to ensure an extraordinary customer experienceJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
