Job Description : Microsoft Search Advertising empowers the largest advertisers around the world to reach their maximum potential through paid
search engine marketing on the Microsoft Bing Ads platform. We are seeking top performing Account Managers with search
advertising experience who can drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction by owning the day-to-day customer management
and driving campaign-level budget upsell and optimization opportunities that align to ROI goals of client and drive incremental
revenue.
We are seeking an Account Specialist with search advertising experience, an attention to detail, customer obsession and passion
to learn and adapt in an evolving environment. The individual in this role will support Account Managers and Account Executives to
manage an assigned set of clients focused on attaining revenue targets, feature adoption and client driven goals. The Account
Specialist will build trusted-advisor status with their account team and clients through flawless customer management and data-
driven solutions including: report creation, opportunity management and tactical execution / implementation of search
optimizations and feature adoption.
Responsibilities

Account team / client partnerships: Partner with account teams to support delivery of revenue goals through proactive and reactive
optimization recommendations and assist in solving revenue blockers.
Support Partnership: Proactively utilize support functions (Global Support, TAM, NQS, AES, etc.) to drive task efficiency, enabling
opportunity to scale deeper into the business.
Propose Feature Adoptions: Propose and deliver feature adoption implementations and optimizations based on aligned client and account
team goals and FY21 feature priorities.
Seek Efficiency Improvements: Seek opportunities for process and tool improvement and efficiency, collaborate proactively with team andmanager on implementations. Evangelize learnings across the team and broader organization.
Enable Sales Initiatives: Enable field teams to achieve greater results and client success through prioritized initiatives that drive feature
priorities, MSAN, revenue results through operational excellence.
Advocate for Microsoft Advertising: Educate clients on how the Microsoft Advertising and features help them to reach their business goals
and execute on budgets. Ensure regular client engagement with the Microsoft Advertising, and aim to increase client self-service for routine tasks. Utilize all available readiness and insights to ensure you are a fluent advocate of Microsoft Advertising and One Microsoft story. Develop and demonstrate an understanding of emerging products/features.
Collaborative and high-performing account team: Ensure ensure timely and proactive customer escalations by effectively leveraging
Account Executive and internal partner network to resolve day-to-day escalations & revenue blockers. Partner with account team to submit
actionable feedback on product, tool and processes through relevant channels. Own and effectively execute the customer transition
process (Red Carpet) and operational excellence in execution of change management (Book of Business update).
Continuous business learning and professional growth: Continually strengthen your Microsoft Advertising and Search Industry expertise,
take personal accountability for your career and personal development; create, update and regularly check in on your career development
plan. Complete required and recommended trainings and apply what you learn to further your growth in role and career progression.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Readiness and capability to learn search engine marketing
Critical thinker who is organized and can make decision based on clear priorities

Collaborative teammate who can build successful team relationships with partners; and can prioritize multiple tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes

Self-motivated and willing to contribute ideas
Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
Experienced using Excel to analyze information, including data manipulation, V-Lookups, creating and using pivot tables, and data analysis
1+ years search or digital media experience
2+ years working in a sales or customer service organization/role
The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $83, 500 to $125,000. At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
