Team Overview

We are currently seeking an Accountant for our International Subsidiaries. An ideal candidate in this role will be someone with automotive industry background, or other form of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities
Assist in establishing international subsidiaries and development of the Company’s international accounting principles, practices, and procedures
Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing process by:
Preparing the necessary journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
Financial statement analysis and identification of non-routine transactions
Documentation of non-routine transactions, ensuring proper accounting treatment
Provide support in entity-wide initiatives and assist in other special projects, including tax projects, system upgrades and implementations, merger and acquisition related activities (including integrations)
Work with international accounting firms and Company personnel to ensure all payroll, vendor payments and accounting transactions are processed correctly
Set up and monitor international cash management and funding requirements
Coordinating monthly, quarterly and yearly close processes for all international subsidiaries, prepare and record necessary elimination entries and perform reconciliation of all intercompany balances
Ensure that intercompany transactions are consistent with executed agreements, meet the requirements of the Company’s business and tax planning strategies, and are properly documented and entered onto each entity’s monthly accounting records
Preparing monthly global consolidations in a timely, accurate and complete manner
Establish and maintain procedures related to revaluation of foreign currency balances, non-USD currency translation and related adjustment
Work with Company’s external accounting partners to ensure compliance with local financial statutory reporting requirements, including tax (VAT tax and returns) and
statutory audits of foreign entities
Identify, research, and resolve accounting issues
Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an environment with multiple entities, both domestic and international
Public accounting and multi-national company experience is strongly preferred
CA or CPA is strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
Highly organized, strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong work ethic, great team player and thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Strong aptitude for critical thinking, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
