Job Description and Requirements
Job Title: Accountant, II
Roles and Responsibilities:
Fixed Asset Activities.
Creating Asset Master Records for all Goods Receipt information received from Ariba.
Reconciling GR/IR account and perform Clearing (VAT, adj, tax adj etc)
Maintaining track of AUC Assets, capitalize once the project is completed.
Preparation of cash paid for Fixed Asset
FA cashflow
FA Laptop inventory records maintenance, capitalize as and when it is issued to users, physical check on closing laptop inventory on quarterly basis.
Intercompany Transfer of assets.
Updating physical location of assets in AMR.
Posting Depreciation on monthly basis and prepare analysis of Depreciation cost movement in P&L
Handle asset retirements requests and periodic review of asset register for retirements of assets which are obsolete.
Compliance
Maintaining records related to Fixed Asset activities ( for future reference and audit)
MIS reports
Preparation of monthly and quarterly Fixed Asset report
Additions, Deletions, Transfer, Gain/loss on FA
Preparation of reports for management
Others:
Audit Support
Support ITeam for physical verification of Assets .
Reviewing and recording assets acquired during M&A
Regions covered
Candidate will be based in India and support WW regions as needed. (India, US, Asia and Europe).
Job Requirements:
5+ yrs of experience in handling Fixed Assets in IT industry.
Exposure to ERP based accounting system (preferably SAP)
Education qualification: Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting
Expertize knowledge in Fixed Asset Accounting. Knowledge of lease accounting will be an added advantage.
Exposure to local law compliances.
High degree of professionalism.
Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
Problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Must have good interpersonal, written and verbal communications and good presentation skills.
