Job Description : We at PEPCO Engineering Group of Companies is looking for an experienced Accountant for a Contracting Field to join our company based in Sharjah.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting activities of the company including accounts payables, receivables, monthly financial statements report, general ledger, bank reconciliation, petty cash, and vat registration and employee payroll. To be considered for this role you must have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role in the construction and manufacturing industries.Key Accountabilities:· Ensure accurate financial and accounting transactions in the system.· Maintain up to date accounting filing systems.· Reconcile records with affiliate companies, external supplier / subcontractors.· Prepare monthly balance confirmation.· Support month-end and close year-end process.· Process monthly payroll and ensure timely upload in the system and payment.· Manage daily petty cash records and transactions.·Have knowledge in FOCUS system.· Manage payment deposits into the banks.· Issue approved payments/cheques/bank transfers/cash to suppliers / subcontractor.· Perform other duties assigned by the Finance Manager.Required Qualifications:· BSc in Commerce, Finance, and Accounting fields.· 3 to 5 years of experience in a construction company.· Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and principles.· Familiar with accounting software, FOCUS System is an advantage.· Accuracy and attention to detail skills.· Proficient MS Office skills, Advanced level of Excel is a must.- Philippines nationality is preferred.- Salary : 4,000 to 5,000 AED- Immediately joining.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: AED4,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per monthExperience:Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)Application Deadline: 31/03/2022
