Job Description : Overview
Link Group are looking to recruit a Fund Accountant (Accounts Officer) to support the fund administration business. The successful candidate will be a graduate with at least 2 years relevant experience. Candidate is either studying (part qualified) or has completed an accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA equivalent).

Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities
Prepare all net asset value calculations, cash reports, loan compliance certificates and any other periodic reports for each client.
Prepare management accounts and accompanying schedules as applicable.
Assist with daily administration for a portfolio of clients and ensure all work completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Processing of invoices, trades and bank transactions onto fund accounting system, custodian trading system and bank payments system in accordance with business policies and procedures.
Assist with preparation of data for client and auditor queries
Assist with preparation of half year and annual statutory accounts together with related information.
Assist in ensuring funds operate within the fund rules and regulations.
Assist in effective implementation of on-boarding new business and fund changes.
Maintain operational data for KPI reporting.
Maintain and enhance technical accounting knowledge.
Provide assistance in effective implementation of on-boarding new business and fund changes
Regularly review Service Level Agreements and update as appropriate
Experience & Personal Attributes
University Graduate with qualified/part-qualified accounting qualification (such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA equivalent) ( or Indian equivalent)
+2 years relevant accounting experience in the Financial Services Industry
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively (written & oral) at all levels
Demonstrably methodical and highly organised with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Desirable
Previous experience of InvestOne / Simcorp Dimenson
Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
Fund accounting / administration experience
Thorough understanding of all fund administration activities including corporate actions, fund structures and resulting accounting entries
