Position : Accounts Receivable Specialist – Work from Home

Job Description : Vaco Los Angeles is working with a growing entertainment client who is looking to add a highly organized Accounts Receivable specialist to their team. The company is growing rapidly and looking to expand their team with knowledgeable accounting professionals. Your primary responsibility and objective will be to perform accounts receivable functions including billing, generating invoices, a collection of invoices, record keeping, and resolving discrepancies.

This role is 100% work from home, but does require a few weeks of on site training at their Hollywood location.

How you will do it

Manage outstanding payment issues and generate aging reports and related correspondence in a timely manner
Investigating unapplied cash
Cash Applications
Conduct account research and analysis
Prepare and maintain various reports
Maintain accurate aging and tracker reports for area
Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments
Send invoice revisions and other back up supporting documentation to past due customers
Reconcile A/R against customer payables
Interact with customers to resolve A/R related issues
Maintain dispute management process on related items

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on A/R experience
High school diploma, or equivalent
Advanced Excel Skills (pivots, lookups)
Demonstrates a high level of customer service ability.
Attention to detail.
Has the ability to work independently.
Entertainment industy experience a plus but not required
SAP or other large ERP system desired
Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
