Job Description : Institutional Property Advisors Capital Markets (“IPA” or the “Company”), a division of Marcus & Millichap, Inc. (NYSE: MMI) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work directly with a Senior Managing Director/ Head of a growing 10 person team and other corporate executives.
General Description
Real Estate Finance team firm looking for an administrative assistant and sales to support the division head with the sales process and national team with administrative work. The ability to prioritize assignments, focus, and remain composed is very important. Professionalism, organization, and the ability to follow through on tasks of importance are a must. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience working in a fast-paced professional environment. We are looking for someone who has a great personality, and we are open to the candidate developing business and growing into other roles in the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General administrative duties.
Assist the group principal with managing clients and relationships.
Develop intimate knowledge of the sales cycle, relationships and encourage follow up and engagement.
Work with social media manager
Manage Conference and Events, research and attendee outreach
Manage, submit, and approve expense reports.
Correspondence via email and phone.
Coordinate calls and meetings.
Arrange travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
Research competitors
Track industry trends
Conference research and attendee outreach
Monitor and update social media platforms with recent closings and press.
Assists with drafting Press Releases for Closed Transactions
Outreach to prospective clients and capital sources on behalf of management
Special projects as assigned

KEY ATTRIBUTES/EXPERIENCE

4-year college education required.
1-2 years of professional experience.
Experience in client-facing and personality-driven roles is essential.
Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful
Must have excellent follow-through with assignments
Extremely proficient with marketing tools and social media and willingness to learn new tools
Excellent interpersonal and organization skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and productively during time-sensitive situations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Independent worker with a team player attitude.
Flexible attitude with the ability to handle change effectively.
Desire to work hard and to learn.
Strong command of technology (Google apps, Salesforce, Slack, Office etc)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
