ACHIEVEMENTS WE WANT YOU TO ACCOMPLISH IN THIS AREA DIRECTOR ROLE

Guardian of the culture: modeling, inspiring and protecting a vibrant people first culture of recognition, development advancement and performance in your restaurants and Management teams.
Utilize the aspects of a great Coach to teach your management teams daily and be a model for training and development. As a great coach in our organization, you will be hands on and engaged with our GM’s, AGM’s and shift leads. You will be comfortable with unreasonably high standards for our execution with the ability to have a firm but fair style with those that report to you. You will develop your team helping them reach their full potential of growth with Slim Chickens and the LOVE Group.
You will be a Cheerleader, able to motivate and inspire others to do more than they even sometimes believe is possible. You will create a fun and inviting work environment that leads the industry in employee engagement and retention. When people are asked what it is like to work in your restaurants and with your Management teams, FUN should always be top of the list.
Your leadership will be a key contributor to bringing our MeMaw value to life and Southern Hospitality will be excessive within your Area. You will instill in your Managers and Team members a Guest First mentality with a Southern flavor, and you will provide leadership that delivers best in brand same store sales growth and guest feedback. You will ensure that you identify specific skills in your management teams that best suit their specific abilities as it relates to hospitality.
Sparkle will be apparent and obvious with your personal appearance and inside the restaurants in your area. Your high standards for cleanliness and food safety will consistently exist in all aspects of your Restaurants.
You will understand the importance of speed and efficiency, leveraging our Cheetah value to deliver quick and efficient communication to your management teams and finance goals. You will bring a sense of urgency to results and will quickly identify and correct actions that are not delivering our desired results. You will be independent, accountable, and quick to act, needing little to no follow up to ensure the results for your restaurants are in line with our targets.
You will have the mentality of a Chef, placing a premium on our food quality and execution. You will never take shortcuts and your guests will rave about the quality of the product you serve them. You will create systems that support this philosophy and your commitment to food quality, speed of service and food safety will be present in your restaurants whether you are working or not.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

People:

Be a role model to all members of your restaurant management teams and their employees, leading your team with impeccable character and ethics.
Create a best-in-class training environment, utilizing Front Porch to ensure that all TM’s are equipped with the necessary training to execute our brand with excellence.
Utilize known industry systems and your unique skills to grow your people and deliver future leadership to the organization.
Hold teams accountable to our mission, vision, and values with positivity and when necessary, a firm yet constructive hand.
Create systems and processes to teach GM’s how to properly staff their restaurants on a daily, weekly, and period basis.
Understand and implement systems and process that lead to low turnover and high retention.

Strategic:

Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate your area of restaurants and their performance on an ongoing basis to insure you are always operating above guest and shareholder expectations.
Lead and develop all people related functions for a team of 260 to 400 people (4-6 locations) and ensure we are always upholding our unique, people first culture.
Participate in the development of the company’s plans and programs as a strategic partner and thoughtful leader.
Utilize your skills as a restaurant professional to grow top line sales through best-in-class execution and hospitality.
Embed yourself in the community you work to be a brand ambassador and identify opportunities for local store marketing and recruiting.

Operations

Ensure our restaurants are Sparkle clean delivering a “Looks like New” quality to all aspects of your facilities at all times.
Deliver food quality that exceeds our guests’ expectations and delivers satisfaction scores for food related items in the top 10% of Franchise Operations.
Coach our management teams to effectively deliver food service times that exceed company expectations.
Implement systems that deliver results which meet or exceed budgeted targets for all key components of the P&L.
Deliver outcomes that lead to best in franchise Operations Assessment scores and supports an outstanding relationship with our Franchisor and its representatives.
