Job Description : Job Description
To lead/perform individual internal audit projects, as part of the total internal audit plan in order to contribute to providing reasonable assurance that Masdar’s internal controls achieve objectives and

promote efficiency, effectiveness and reduce the risk of loss, as well as help ensure the compliance with laws and regulations. To perform annual risk assessment and develop internal audit plan.

Skills
Extensive knowledge of and skill in applying internal auditing and accounting principles, practices, management principles and preferred business practices.

Considerable knowledge and skills in applying the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal

Auditing and the Code of Ethics developed by the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Considerable knowledge of industry program policies, procedures, regulations and laws.

Skill in collecting and analysing complex data, evaluating information and systems, and drawings logical

conclusions.

Ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance, and provide appropriate

direction to other internal audit project team members.

Skills in performing company-wide annual risk assessment and annual planning.

Skill in effective negotiations and resolving problems.

Skill in using a computer with word processing, spreadsheet and other business software to prepare reports, memos, summaries and analyses.

Good communication skills, and ability to interface and work with a group of diverse personnel on a

multitude of projects.

Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers, staff and external

contacts.

Ability to concurrently manage multiple audit/ advisory engagements.

Leadership skills in effective management of assigned internal audit teams during fieldwork
