Job Description : Assistant Professor – Film EditingJob Description· Teach fundamental concepts of Film Editing as well as advanced concepts forthe foundation, junior and advanced Bachelor’s and Master’s (film and media) degree batches.· Help and guide students in editing professional short projects and films by actively mentoring students as assistants.· Handle content for social media promotions/ e- learning material/ master classes/ workshops for Annapurna College.Basic Qualifications: · Educational Background: Master’s in Film Editing and/or Visual Communication.· Skills/ Technical Skills (Mandatory): a. Thorough technical knowledge of the editing workflow for video and digital cinema.b. Knowledge in using applications like AVID Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe after Effects, Adobe Photoshop.c. Experience in content design and editing for online multi-cam production, digital media and new media platforms.Job Specifications: · 7-10 years of experience· Industry type: Film and Media· Target Company/Sector: Film and Media Production Houses/ ChannelsDesired Qualifications: a. Excellent communication skills to interact with students using proper terminology of film making & media productionb. Develop live projects and guide students accordinglyc.
