Application support is a service that ensures the operational processes in a business run smoothly and enables users to conduct their business. It is available to both internal and external stakeholders of an organization. The internal users are the organizational employees, management and ownership. External applications support mainly focuses on customers or end-users.
Technical support relates to the maintenance of the app, software and other organization’s technological systems. Human support relates to helping the end-user understand how to use the application or system and help solve any issues.
Application Support Specialist Job Duties may include but not limited to:

Managing Databases and (SQL)
Responsible for developing software product features with industry-leading technologies such as Java
Test and verify software solutions to ensure adherence to requirements.
Involves configuration, build, test, support, and maintenance of new products or features.
Build and test interfaces for application development assignments. Test all code developed as per the defined quality process standard.
Document software defects, using a bug tracking system
Participate in trouble shooting existing application issues and implement as per the change management process
Design and configure interfaces needed to transfer data between applications based on the requirements
Maintain the security information needed to connect with other applications
Leverage your design skills to provide an engaging user experience to the end-users
May involve participating in discovery and design sessions, developing wireframes and prototypes, and developing web and mobile apps

This position is not remote and candidates must live in Utah or be willing to relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah.

Pay: From $41,000.00 per year
