The Opportunity

Associate Creative Director encompasses all the attributes and responsibilities of a Senior Copywriter or Senior Art Director, plus: Broad expertise across disciplines—Must demonstrate working-knowledge and a complete understanding of their space (web, print, interactive, etc.). Proven experience working in domain area. Recognized and sought out by others as an authority across various domains. Identifies and envisions whole solutions across domains or complex systems where no solution currently exists. Has played a significant role in the development and delivery of new technology or major innovations. Leads and mentors other members across functional areas on strategic projects. Works with Senior Managers or Directors in Campaign or functional marketing teams to advise new projects. Driver of design process and agenda setter—Drive design process, goals, and vision across groups. Help set organization vision and actively align efforts to achieve the vision. Help set organization goals, create team assignments, and optimally empower team members to achieve business objectives. Create communications to explain positions, values, and philosophies on higher-level topics (design, typography, color, etc.) Communicate and present outside of Adobe (e.g., conferences, blogs, design competitions, etc.). Promote mission and goals internally and externally.

What you’ll Do

Driver of design process and agenda setter—Drive design process, goals, and vision across groups.

Help set organization vision and actively align efforts to achieve the vision
Help set organization goals, create team assignments, and effectively motivate team members to achieve business objectives.
Create communications to explain positions, values, and philosophies on higher-level topics (design, typography, color, etc.)
Communicate and present outside of Adobe (e.g., conferences, blogs, design competitions, etc.)
Promote mission and goals internally and externally
For Copywriting – Advances copywriting process and agenda—Drives writing process, goals and vision across groups

Broad expertise across disciplines—Must demonstrate working-knowledge and a complete understanding of their space (web, interactive, etc.).

Proven ability working in domain area
