Job Description : Role Description:
RFA Securities LLC is looking for 2 full time Options Associate Traders to join our team on the BOX Options Exchange trading floor in Chicago, IL. It’s a fast paced, stressful environment, and the job requires a strong will and fortitude.
The Associate Trader position is also fun, rewarding, and highly educational in all aspects of the stock and options market.
RFA Securities LLC is part of a nationwide company with affiliates in San Francisco, Chicago, and Philadelphia, and has been growing rapidly over the last 7 years. We have a strong leadership and compliance team to provide you with all the resources you need to be successful.
There is also opportunity for advancement to higher levels within the company for the right person who shows interest in taking their career to the next level.
Prior options and equities experience is a plus. Must have good math and communication skills and be able to adjust to changing market conditions.

Responsibilities:
Execute orders in a physical trading crowd
Be able to negotiate and work with Market Makers while executing an order
Use trading tools to identify size and direction of trades
Training will be provided
Required Skills and Experience:
Ability to stay composed in an extremely fast paced, high pressure environment
Ability to stay focused with multiple distractions
Ability to listen and record details
Excellent ability to listen and record details
Good with math and numbers
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
Must be calm under pressure
Ability to work in a team environment
High attention to detail
Negotiation skills a plus
Interest in the securities industry a plus
Applicant is required to pass the FINRA SIE exam prior to hire
Applicant must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
