Job Description : 2021 ReEntry Program – India Operations – Mumbai / Bangalore
The ReEntry Program is a 14-week fellowship program, beginning 2021, with the prospect of an offer for permanent employment with JP Morgan Chase at the end of the program. The program offers a reintroduction to corporate life for those returning to the workplace after two or more years voluntarily being away. The fellowship placements will be based on both business needs and candidate skill set and interest areas within our Asset Wealth Management Operations business.

Trade Support
Experience in Trade Support.
Knowledge of securities industry and back office operations (e.g. options, equities, fixed income, physicals, custody services, etc.)
Microsoft Suite of applications proficiency
Ability to analyze a process and recommend ways to improve quality, control, and efficiency.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills to assist in resolving issues and complex inquiries
Outstanding professional communication and interpersonal skills

Guidelines
Portfolio Compliance: Coding & Monitoring, Trade Surveillance, Alert Management. AM Guidelines team supports portfolio managers by updating Investment management mandates on Compliance platforms and monitoring alerts for Institutional client guidelines
Annotation/Interpretation of Investment management Agreement/Prospectus/ SAI / Delegate Sleeve Agreements
Scheduling the Annotation meeting with Desk/IS/PDs to get their buy ins on Interpretation
Coding client and regulatory rules on compliance platforms.
Rule Testing & Standardization
Counterparty and broker setups for trading
Setting up strategy benchmark and client approved security List
Leveraging Machine learning tools for standard rule setups
Performing analytical review of Investment Guidelines provided by investors and institutions.
Partner with various operations team to improve data availability and overall quality of underlying data.
Change Mobilization:
Service Design – lead co-creation of end-to-end, front-to-back target service experiences, purposefully aligning people, processes and systems to deliver improved employee experience and better client outcomes
Process Engineering – capture current and design future state processes and business logic; model capacity and costing; simulate the impact of change; and drive integration into underlying core technology
Analytics Transformation – govern and support adoption of Alteryx, Tableau and Qlik in both a COE and federated model; drive value creation through automation of manual data preparation and reporting tasks; lead product development of interactive analytics
Intelligent Automation – manage ongoing automation initiatives using Xceptor and Robotics Process Automation; liaise with firm-wide programs and represent AWM Operations in evaluation and implementation of existing and emerging digital tools
Credit Middle Office
Understanding of credit concepts
Strong knowledge of banking operations.
Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks through effective prioritization
Leadership skills to drive discussions and lead the group

Portfolio Analysis
The primary responsibility of Performance Measurement is to works in conjunction with the offshore teams to produce performance & risk analytics. Additional responsibilities will include maintenance of production infrastructure and maintaining controls for any change to production of account settings. The role requires attention to detail, an awareness of the risks involved and an ability to work under pressure and strict adherence to deadlines.

Primary responsibility includes manage team s that will be responsible for Producing performance & risk analytics in conjunction with overseas partners
Validate performance data at Total level, Asset class and Security level. Coordinate with Middle Office, US and EMEA performance team and with Technology to correct and amend problems within the system.
Knowledge on the different Performance methodologies (Dietz, Modified Dietz, True time weighted) and Attribution analysis
Assist US Performance team in the production of monthly dispersion analysis reporting.

CORE Operations
As a Trading Services Analyst, you’ll serve as a vital resource for the front office and client-facing stakeholders. You’ll act as the liaison between the business, technology, control partners, and operations. Your role includes the investigation of inquiries, monitoring trade execution flows, trade reconciliations, and the fundamental understanding of our trading platforms and systems. Candidates must be able to provide and communicate solutions (in person, by phone, and by email) in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Provide end-to-end trade flow support across all product channels globally
Monitor ongoing support needs to address changes and gaps
Drive continuous improvement efforts, while reducing risk across all touch-points in the trade path
Ensure the accurate and timely escalation and resolution of all inquiries
Address ad hoc queries from operations, technology, and the front office
Facilitate training for new application users
Work with the business, technology, and operations to determine priorities, schedule of releases, and detail of the requirements for future enhancements/products

Qualifications

Ideal candidates for the program are creative, innovative team players with analytical, technical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills. Individuals must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively in presentations, expressing complex financial strategies in an organized and articulate manner. The ability to relate well to external clients and internal partners and establishing strong working relationships is a crucial requirement of the program.
Individuals must be on a voluntary career break for at least two years in order to be considered.
The candidates’ background and interest will determine where they will be placed within the Corporate Investment Banking & Asset Wealth Management. Individuals with previous (7+ years) experience relevant to the businesses noted above are encouraged to apply.
