We have a great opportunity for a talented Senior Bartender/Mixologist to join the team in our Award Winning Lobby Lounge. The successful applicant will have a passion for their work and a personality that will make our guests feel both welcomed and cared for. As a senior member of the team, guests will look to you to guide them through their choice of beverage based on their taste and preference.
What we are looking for?
A passion for bartending.
Desire to always deliver a five-star experience.
Great understanding of beverages (alcoholic & non-alcoholic).
Efficiency and punctuality.
A warm and friendly character.
Previous experience in luxury hospitality/customer service.
Lives and breathes the Shangri-La Values.
What will you do?
Interact with clients and understand their needs.
Fulfil guest orders in an effective and organised manner.
Work with Lobby Lounge colleagues to keep excellent service standards.
Be prepared to assist other Shangri-La colleagues/departments in a thoughtful manner.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness/orderliness at the bar and surrounding areas.
Empathetically listen to client queries/complaints and work with colleagues/Service Manager to find solutions.

The hotel comprises 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites and 6 four-bedroom villas with private pools, all furnished to the highest standards in a modern Arabic style. To meet the needs of long-staying guests, the hotel offers 161 fully-furnished spacious serviced apartments ranging from studios to four-bedroom units. The hotel is located within the acclaimed Qaryat Al Beri complex, on a one-kilometre stretch of private beach overlooking the strait that separates Abu Dhabi Island from the mainland. The hotel is conveniently located next to a souk, offering a variety of shops under one roof.
