This role sits within the C&MD team and works closely with the Head of Marketing and the BD team in the Middle East.

Job Purpose: The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for providing executive support to the delivery and project management of a wide range of marketing and business development initiatives and other specific activities related to wider CM&D function.
In this role you will work with the regional and global CM&D teams, partners, lawyers, and other stakeholders to assist with the delivery of top-quality BD and marketing materials and provide organisational support on a range of initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting on the production of formal pitch documentation and ad hoc capability statements across all practices
Facilitating the capture of matter credentials in the experience management system
Assisting with the maintenance of matter credentials in client and marketing materials in global pitch systems.
Assisting with the production and delivery of internal and external marketing communications e.g., press releases, intranet updates, social media posts, website updates etc.
Assisting with the provision of client focused briefings and market profiling content through digital and non-digital channels.
Assisting with all aspects of external client focused event planning, including webinars and training.
Assisting in the coordination and production of directory, awards and league table submissions.
Maintaining information about the regional client programme and ensuring lists, team composition and client requirements are accurate and available to relevant teams.
Assisting in the production of ad-hoc research requests, including but not limited to: client, market and competitor analyses.

Develop strong working relationships with other areas of the firm, in particular the Business Support teams based in India, as well as the Legal Secretaries, our regional Accounts, Best Delivery, HR and IT teams; and also become a proficient user of services provided by each of these groups.
Key Requirements:
The successful candidate should have:
A positive attitude and desire to build a solid career in the legal or professional services industry.
A desire to work in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable to change and have the flexibility to adjust work schedule according to workload demands or planned events.
The ability to multi-task, which will be key whilst remaining on top of the workload.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with demonstrated service orientation.
Strong general software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc) and ideally some exposure to webpage/intranet development.
Excellent project management, organisational and planning skills with ability to prioritise multiple tasks and projects and meet deadlines.
High level of attention to detail and meticulous follow-through.
High level of maturity and confidence necessary to interact with firm lawyers.
Analytical thought and problem-solving skills.
Ability to be self-motivated and work independently with minimal supervision.
Native level Arabic, both spoken and written.
Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institute.
4-6 years of work experience in a professional service, matrix organisation, partnership or large corporate environment.
