Job Description : Registered Behavior Technician Positions: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®) services are direct activities related to the delivery of behavior analysis services and are designated in and required by a behavior analysis service plan. The overriding goal of PBS Corp. Services is to enhance the autonomy and quality of life of individuals, their families, and others who support them. Each PBS Corp client has a behavior support plan; it is the responsibility of the behavior assistant to work with caregivers and/or staff to fully implement strategies within this plan and achieve the desired outcomes. This role will come in contact with families, clients, and other employees. Each of these persons may have visible and invisible qualities that make that person unique. This includes race, gender, age, sexuality, ability, religion, national origin, gender identity, and other identities. This role requires sustaining an inclusive and equitable learning and working environment by having respectful and considerate behavior, thoughtful and constructive speech to all.Responsibilities: Assisting in restructuring environments and activities to support the clients’ behaviorsTeaching skills that allow the individual to communicate and/or function more effectivelyReview behavior plans and other relevant (e.g., instructional) materials developed by behavior analysts for clients in order to facilitate consistent implementation and monitor outcomes appropriately.The implementation of behavioral procedures for acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviorsData collection and display as authorized by a recipient’s behavior analysis service planCommunicate openly with behavior analysts and regional coordinatorComplete daily progress notes related to implementation of the intervention planQualifications: Providers of this service must have at least:A high school diploma and be at least 18 years of ageCompletion of Registered Behavior Technician Credential or willingness to enroll and complete courses within the first 30 days of job offerBachelor’s Degree, or near completion of a bachelor’s degree is preferredStrong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, problem-solvingThe provider is responsible for all licensure training requirements and feesPBS provides RBT training for new employees for freeProof of annual or required updated training shall be maintained on file for reviewMust have reliable transportation as we are not a clinic and we provide ABA therapy in client’s homes, community settings, and *schools (*case by case basis as not all schools allow us in)Obtain Oregon BAI (Behavior Analysis Interventionist) license prior to starting after completing the RBT training we provide if applicable (*we will help you with the steps to obtain license and the license process takes around 4 weeks to complete)All direct staff must have active Oregon BAI (Behavior Analysis Interventionist) to work with clients at PBS in the Oregon regionBenefitsQuarterly incentive bonus- opportunity to earn $500 bonus every quarter when averaging 25 hours per weekPaid drive time between clientsOpportunity for mentorship program and supervision hoursMedical benefits401KFull Time (25 hours or more per week) and Part Time (24 hours or less per week)Mentorship/Supervision ProgramStudent Analyst ProgramHourly range is in the higher range of this listing!BCBA/BCaBA Supervision FREE!Mentorship Program for Newly Certified AnalystsDiscounts/perks with school partners: Florida Institute of Technology, University of West Florida, Capella, Kaplan and National University, etc.Job Type: Part-timePay: $19.00 – $27.00 per hourWork Location: Multiple Locations
