Overview

Billing Support Specialists work closely with our patients, providers, third party billers, and operations teams to ensure services are billed correctly and collections are received. This individual will help support a variety of projects that help ensure insurance and patient payments are accurate, timely and complete. This includes front end eligibility, authorizations, and referrals, as well as back end claims submissions, A/R and payment posting. The person in this role should be an independent problem solver, working closely with the rest of the billing team to prioritize billing needs.
What you will be doing

Assist with various aspects of the revenue cycle, including front and back end processes
Work directly with our third party billers, patients and providers to triage and problem solve billing issues
Assist with identifying collection problems and trends, and providing solutions

What we’re looking for

An experienced medical biller who is comfortable working with patients and providers
Comfortable with all aspects of revenue cycle, though you will not be expected to do it all at once!
A fast learner and able to work independently
Knowledgeable about health insurance
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Enthusiastic and service-oriented
