Experience in Symantec (bluecoat Proxy SG/Cisco Umbrella) deployment. One arm Mode, Inline tap mode and routed mode.
Deployment experience on VRRP cluster on proxy SG appliances.
Knowledge on PAC file usage, CPL scripting, deployment, PAC file Java script functions will be considered as an advantage.
Good understanding SSL key ring deployment on Proxy SG appliances.
Good understanding and troubleshooting experience on CPL and VPM.
Experience on SSL web layer, authentication layer, web access layer, authentication layer under VPM.
Experience in troubleshooting slowness ,URL whitelisting , issues on Proxy SG, Cisco Umbrella.
Solve problems accurately and find alternative solutions to resolve obstacles
Develop playbooks to optimize the Umbrella SaaS platform.
Implement and support deployment of Cisco Umbrella.
Performing the profiling tasks.
Experience in enabling forward and reverse proxy on bluecoat Proxy-SG , Cisco Umbrella appliances.
Sound knowledge in reviewing packet captures using Wireshark / ethereal tools , Good understanding of HTML ,html 5 ,HTTP v1 ,V2 protocols ,
Experience in team management and project management.
Lead from front in resolving complex Network Security issues.
Prepares system security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Primary Skills
Hands on experience on Bluecoat Proxy SG, Cisco Umbrella
Experience with web security technologies: Bluecoat Proxy SG, Cisco Umbrella most Preferred.
Secondary Skills
Added advantage: BCCPP ,(Symantec)Bluecoat certified proxy-SG associate or professional
ITIL Certification, Cisco CCNP /SNPA Certification
