Job Description:
Position is available on January 3rd, 2022 and will end on May 26th, 2022.
Will be teaching Digital Literacy, Coding, and College/Career Awareness classes

Preferred Skills:
Candidates must have a Secondary teaching license with endorsement CTE Business and Marketing Basic or CTE/General.

Expired licenses, out of state licenses, or University students that will graduate in Spring or Summer 2022 are welcome to apply.

Don’t have a professional teaching license? Follow one of these steps before applying:

To earn your license through the CSD Alternative Pathway to Professional Eudcator Licensing (APPEL) program, you will first apply for an Associate Educator License (AEL). Follow this link for information on how to apply for an AEL through the Utah State Board of Education (USBE).

Proof of an AEL or proof you submitted all the documentation correctly to USBE is required before you will be added to the candidate pool.

Must be able to get a Business and Marketing Basic or CTE/General endorsement.

If you would prefer to earn your license from a University, you will enroll in a teacher certification program for Secondary Ed at a local university. Once you have been accepted, you will then apply for your Associate Educator License (AEL) and take the correct content Praxis test (if you do not hold a degree in the subject area you wish to teach). Follow this link for information on how to apply for an AEL through the Utah State Board of Education (USBE).

Proof of your AEL and Enrollment Letter will be required when you apply for the Secondary Candidate Pool.
