Position : Business to Business E-Commerce Data Scientist

Job Description : If you are our B2B eCommerce Data Scientist, you will be part of a global agile organization, working on complex business challenges. You will play key part in making sure that eCommerce strategy is driven by the facts, numbers & data. You will drive key observations derivation from the Customers behaviors, Operational performance metrices, User Support SLAs and translate to them to the meaningful insights for the Executive stakeholders’ community. As a Data Scientist you will have an opportunity to proactively shape eCommerce growth strategy including Marketing Campaigns, Cross & Up-sell roadmap, sales forecasting, and Customers’ health improvement.
Responsibilities:
Customer Purchasing behaviour analysis with strong Unassisted Ordering pattern growth
Customer health (ex. Customer stickiness, ordering patterns) verification and improvement actions recommendation
Site visits (view heatmap, page exits, …) analysis and UX improvement strategy definition
Marketing Campaigns results analysis, A/B Testing performance
“At-Risk” Customer identification and Customer Reactivation ownership
New success metrics / KPIs identification
Robotics & Automation opportunities identification
Voice Of the Customer (VOC) Improvement areas definition and communication to the respective stakeholders
eCommerce enhancements success factors definition and measurement and sign-off with stakeholders
Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with:
Typically 4-6 years of related experience in data science area
Strong analytical & statistical skills including data modeling (ex. sales forecasting) and actionable insights creation
Strong consensus-building and influencing skills
Knowledge of programing languages like SQL. Machine Learning algorithms experience preferred
Knowledge of Python is a must
Strong knowledge and skills with other business applications (e.g. Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Jira)
Previous experience in eCommerce and/or Digital experience preferred
Ability to interact with all levels of the company, including senior management
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and achieve results, meeting deliverables on time and at the required quality
Drive for results through creativity and innovation.
Previous experience in eCommerce and/or Digital experience preferred
Scope & Impact:
Serves as tech lead to product and program managers to understand the business problem.
Works with software engineers to understand systems and craft interfaces to model for deployment.
Interacts with team collecting data to define collection protocols and assure data quality.
Codes, trains, validates and optimizes machine learning models, possibly crafting new model architectures, optimization techniques or objective functions.
Education and Experience:
Masters Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, and/or Math or equivalent, demonstrated through work experience, journal and/or conference publications or open-source projects, PhD preferred.
