Job Description : The Role
Principal accountabilities:
Ensure 3rd party debtors are proactively chased and pay within agreed payment terms to maintain overdue debt and DSO within agreed target levelsMonitor payment performance of customers and escalate immediately where appropriateAll CRM activities reviewed and followed dailyMaintain accurate and up to date all chase records and interaction with customers in CRMDaily review of credit hold list and follow up with customers – (list of sales orders held due to overdue)Highlight all customer’s disputes and record in SAP immediately to ensure quick turnaroundDaily review and follow up on all disputes on assigned customer’s accountsDaily review and follow up with customers on unallocated paymentsIssue copy invoices/credit notes and account statements as requiredMonitor shared email boxes to make sure all requests are actioned and response provided within agreed timeLiaise with Credit Risk team to ensure accurate data is maintained and all risks to collections are identifiedFollows instructions given by superior
General accountabilities:
During all work activities observes policies, regulations and directives for assuring safety and protection of health and comply with policies and targets of quality, with the policies and targets of environmental protection and related procedures and directionsKeeps his / her working place and equipment in order and in the line with the 5S system principlesShows active approach towards broadening knowledge and qualificationActive approach to BPI and partnership buildingFollows internal guidelines of the employer and generally applicable regulations

What we expect of you?
Critical Skills
Secondary/University educationWorking experience in a finance environmentThorough knowledge of standard AR procedures highly preferableAdvanced level of Microsoft Office (excel), SAP knowledge preferableFluent English is essential
