Position : Catering Services Coordinator
Job Description : Synopsis
Responsible for timely dispatch, delivery and handover of catering provisions as per approved airline /VIP and third party schedules, menu specifications, galley plans, AVSEC and ramp safety standards.
Practice active Leadership through clear, concise communications with all external and internal stakeholders while improving on KPIs you are set
Accountabilities
1. Ensure search and seal checks are carried out, equipment assembled in all vehicles is as per respective galley loading plans / customer specifications while company’s hygiene, quality and temperature standards are strictly followed at all times.
2. Ensure thorough meal checks are conducted prior to dispatch from chillers including SPMLs and load figures tally with respective log sheets, telexes and emails.
3. Completion of on board loading of catering supplies within the stipulated timeframe and KPIs , clear and detailed catering handover to cabin crew
4. Ensure that all necessary administrative documentation is prepared, maintained and submitted in additional to closing of invoices accurately in a timely manner.
5. Act as a company ambassador when dealing with customers including Handling of VVIP and other major flights which require special attention.
6. Actively seek to reduce the risk of accidents and incidents by means of monitoring, auditing, checks and training. Conduct on the job training for newly appointed service officers in addition to retraining of existing personnel whilst maintaining all records ensuring all team members are focused on delivering on their field of expertise.
7. Assist in any required investigation with regard to customer or company complaints, highlighting improvements / corrective actions.
Education & Experience
Secondary education with pass in English and Mathematics, fluency in spoken and Written English.Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role.
