Clerical Site Lead
Work Location: Ogden, UT
Hours of Operation: Day, night, or swing shift, as specified by the IRS
Cape Fox is seeking highly motivated professionals to immediately join our team in support of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Wage and Investment (W&I) Submission Processing operations at the three service centers. This is an urgent need to address the significantly increased volume of paper tax returns and correspondence linked to the CARES and ARPA act where taxpayers are filing paper returns and submitting correspondence related to the stimulus payments. These positions are contingent upon award.
Core Duties:

Assist in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of clerical team members
Coordinate training for new clerical team members
Provide daily supervision and coordinate ongoing training for clerical team members
Monitor daily workload and assign tasks
Provide ongoing monitoring and support to ensure quality in customer service and timeliness and accuracy in paper processing
Mentor staff, monitor performance, complete performance evaluations, and conduct disciplinary procedures
Analyze and interpret records and reports relating to clerical activities
Monitor and approve time and attendance reports
Develop and maintain quality monitoring measures

Job Requirements:
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, preferred
Five (5) years of supervisory/managerial experience
Additional work experience may be substituted for degree requirement
Complete Contractor Security Training requirements prior to onboarding
Background investigations are required for each contracted employee due to the required access to sensitive but unclassified information, security items or products. At the discretion of IRS Personnel Security, a new background investigation may not be required for contracted employees with recent or current favorable Federal Government investigations; however, inclusion on the Risk Assessment Checklist will still be required to be cleared to be on this contract. IRS Personnel Security will conduct pre-screen adjudication checks on all contractor employees to verify the IRS basic eligibility and suitability requirements. The six eligibility and suitability criteria must meet prior to the initiation of a full background investigation are:

Must be Federal tax compliant having both filed and paid any taxes due in a timely manner or be on an approved payment plan with the IRS and be current with payments
Must have an acceptable FBI criminal history fingerprint and name check
Must have two forms of identification from the Form I-9 to complete a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process
All males born after 1959 must be compliant with Selective Service Registration law
Must consent to credit history check resulting in acceptable determination by the Government
Must complete Standard Form (SF) 85 and Optional Form (OF) 306 questions 1, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16 and 17a via e-QIP for Government review
