Job Description : The job responsibilities of the dental assistant would entail the following –Assisting the dentist during their procedures as per the guidelines and instructions givenEnsuring that the patients are comfortable before, during and after their respective proceduresPreparing the patients and the work area for treatments and proceduresEnsuring the chair and instruments are kept ready as per the specifications given by the dentistTaking and documenting patient dental history as well as overall health and medication historyChecking the vitals of the patients before their clinical proceduresPreparing tables and trays for dentist with necessary instruments and suppliesCleaning and sterilizing instruments, and preparing treatment rooms as neededTaking, exposing, and mounting high quality dental radiographsCommunicating with the procurement department to ensure that appropriate supply of equipment and materials are made availablePerforming patient charting as instructed by the dentistWelcoming patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment roomEnsuring that the patient is never left unattendedMaintaining accurate patient records and assist with payment proceduresHelping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instrumentsAssisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessaryGiving patients information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs; including but not limited to providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.Forming preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study castsOrdering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventoryFabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressionsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: ₹7,000.00 – ₹10,000.00 per monthBenefits:Leave encashmentSchedule:Day shiftSupplemental Pay:Yearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:Kalamandir, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:total work: 1 year (Preferred)
