Your key responsibilities

Identify, isolate & document defects and inconsistencies in data sources and products
Implement and oversee infrastructure automation and configuration management (Terraform, Azure Automation, PowerShell, Azure CLI)
Design and implement continuous integration pipelines through Azure DevOps
Hands-on experience with Azure Core Platform (Compute, Storage, Networking), Azure Services, Azure AD, Azure App Services, AKS
Knowledge in implementing security controls that protect identity, access, data, applications, and networks in cloud and hybrid environments as part of an end-to-end infrastructure
Managing the security posture, identifying, and remediating vulnerabilities, performing threat modeling and implementing threat protection
Responding to security incident escalations on a timely basis
Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in Cloud and Virtualized environments
Knowledge in planning, implementing, and maintaining cloud networking solutions, including hybrid networking, connectivity, routing, security, and private access to Azure services
Design, document, communicate and implement network and security solutions
Problem solving and root cause analysis
Have experience in enterprise scale testing frameworks
Document and enforce best practices in BT Azure Subscriptions around Networking and Security
Collaborate with Program Management, Business Analysts, Developers, Cloud Governance and Information Security on tasks related to the planning, testing and coordination of release activities.
Participate in user story creation process through dissection of high-level requirements during team review sessions.
Responds and communicates efficiently between the business, tech and QA team on projects and to facilitate resolution of user issues as and when necessary.
Experienced in implementing cost effective network and security solutions
Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, VPC, and distributed networks
Configuring and Managing VNet, NSG, Private DNS zone, Private and Service endpoint, Private Link

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git repositories
Experience with Azure/AWS/GCP (Azure preferred)
Experience with Azure VNet, SubNet, DNS Zone, Private and Service endpoint
Deep experience with Terraform language
Nice to have: powershell, bash scripting

Qualifications

10+ Years Experience
AZ-900 is minimum requirement
AZ-500 and AZ-700 certifications preferred
Ability to work independently, prioritize and solve problems proactively
Demonstrate the ability to work systematically and logically to analyze situations, resolve problems, identify root causes, and anticipate implications.
Team player with customer focus
Clear and effective communications skills
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive architectural designs
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Ability to pro-actively engage and resolve areas of concern
