Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:Responsible and self-driven work in the field of data engineering.Robust Software Engineering and Programming skills, Experience in Python, PySpark and Spark.Interest in Data (Analysis, Schema, Validation, Visualization).Strong and clear understanding of the Big Data concepts and its various implementations.Ability to create, use and maintain Cloud resources, ideally Azure and Terraform.Understands software, manage-, build- and test-tools.Customer orientated working mode, with the ability to articulate and make sensible and viable conversations with the stakeholders.
Technical Skills required:Seasoned(2+ years) coding experience in designing Data Engineering pipelines using the relevant languages like Python, PySpark, SQL, Scala, Java etc.Having experience with Hadoop Architecture, HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, Spark-RDD / DataFrames, HBase, Sqoop.Hands on experience in building Data Pipelines with Azure Cloud technologies – ADF Pipelines, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS, Key Vault, Logic App, Function App, Event Hub & Azure Stream Analytics.Experience with one or more Data pipeline automation/workflow management tools like Airflow, Prefect, Dagster etc.Good understanding of Metadata Management techniques, Schema validations, and also processing different data formats.Hands on experience with Docker and Kubernetes will be a definite plus.Modern DevOps practices (including Bitbucket, Git, CI/CD, JIRA).
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science / Instrumentation engineering.
Additional Information
3+ years of experience working in the field of Data Engineering and Cloud technologies.
