The Boeing Company is seeking a Communications Specialist to join the Culture and Values Communications Team. The selected candidate will be working closely with business partners leading culture, values and equity, diversity and inclusion communications for the company. The role provides the opportunity to contribute to an important business priority and enhance awareness and understanding of company values to help shape a culture where everyone is included, valued, respected and supported in reaching their full potential. This skilled communicator will own the Culture and Values storytelling strategy and manage an internal news channel with a strong focus on connecting values-based stories to business outcomes. In addition, this communicator will support enterprise culture, values and equity, diversity and inclusion projects such as change management initiatives and inclusion training.

Position Responsibilities:

Collaborate with communicators and employees across the company to write and publish compelling stories and campaign materials that advance culture, equity, diversity and inclusion at Boeing and highlight the company as an employer of choice
Support communication and message integration for enterprise culture and inclusion programs such as Boeing’s Seek, Speak and Listen habits
Write and edit materials such as feature articles, leadership messages and speeches, scripts, website and social media content, both independently and in partnership with communications colleagues
Apply strategic thinking to every project and maintain a clear focus on business priorities

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of Internal employee communications experience
3+ years of experience creating and implementing communications plans, strategies, and tactics
Experience leading, influencing and providing strategic counsel to business partners, colleagues and leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience with change management, culture and equity, diversity and inclusion communications

Typical Education/Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Summary pay range: 80,750 – 111,150
