Today, we are seeking a business partner to create and implement communications strategies for Siemens in the Middle East. This position will ideally be based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
What are my responsibilities?
Develop and implement an annual integrated communications plan (including executive presentations, videos, branding, events, trade shows, internal, online)Identify the most effective delivery methods for our key messages and communication activities; execute demand generation campaignsPlan, organize and manage events including trade shows, conferences, seminars, customer, and partner eventsDrive internal communication within the companyBe the strategic link between the communications hub in the UAE and other countries in the Middle EastEnsure close alignment with the business by defining KPIs, organizing quarterly review meetings and developing strong internal channels of communicationManage budgets and external suppliersIdentify newsworthy developments and communicate them quickly and effectively to the media relations teamConduct market research on competitors and regular benchmarking of campaign
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Expertise with MS Office; preferably experience with design software and other content creation toolsCreativity, in language and tactics, to elevate our message to relevant audiencesEnthusiasm about the core mission of SiemensFacility with social media and digital communications channelsTrade shows and event management experienceStrong interest in technology, and the ability to create engaging stories about the hidden technologies in infrastructure, industry and transportation that make our lives betterAbility to prioritize tasks, and the maturity to call for help when necessaryAt least five years of experience in a related field, successfully delivering communications and marketing strategies
