Job Description : Based in Mumbai, Content-Whale is a content-writing company serving clients across industries with more than 42 different content types. Some of these names include the US, the UK, France, New Zealand, Canada, Australia, Ireland, and South Africa. The team of 250+ full-time writers, editors, and freelancers has served big industry brands as well as smaller franchises. Fitting into this structure, the Content Editor is the pillar and final content expert who ensures quality delivery for each client.Prerequisite Qualities: 1. Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.2. Clarity in thought process and a problem-solving attitude.3. Comprehension skills.4. SEO knowledge.5. Time management.6. Team player.7. An eye for detail.Job Responsibilities: · Edit 10,000 words daily for accuracy in spelling, language usage, grammar, and consistency/relevance of content.· Perform factual checks on the content.· Provide a daily report to the quality manager i.e. the reporting manager.· Offer feedback to the writers after editing their pieces.· Report/communicate specific editing problems to the project teams.· Coordinate with reporting manager on client revision requests and get them done within the deadline.· Adhere to the timelines and completion of reports.o Understanding specific project guidelines of the work for the dayThe editor will receive the work for the day from the Quality Manager.
