Job Description : We’re looking for a talented and committed editor with a track record of copy editing and proofreading high-quality content. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of the English language, extensive experience copy editing and proofreading a wide range of content, and the ability to work under pressure without compromising quality.He or she will be responsible for proofreading, grammatical and spelling errors, factual accuracy, proper formatting and sentence structure, as well as content writing.Our ideal applicant is well-organized, has strong written and verbal communication skills, and can work in a fast-paced atmosphere while maintaining a positive team spirit.Roles & ResponsibilitiesProofreading, re-structuring, and editing copy for email newsletter, articles and blog postsExisting content should be organised, modified, and updated with our audience in mind.Follow brand guidelines and create material that reflects the brand’s voice and tone in adherence to brand guidelines as well as the best SEO practices.Write quality content in finance sectorCheck the article for typographical, grammatical, and spelling errors and rectify them.Check for any factual flaw in the document and revise any facts that are incorrectFormat the document, as required.Maintain a stylesheet for every editing and proofreading project.Follow specific style guides depending on the type of the document.Support the team and show a positive attitude if asked to work on a different subject.Complete the project adhering to the TAT (Turnaround time).RequirementsProven work experience as a Content Editor, or similar rolePortfolio of published workFluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Pay close attention to the details.Education in Finance is desirable.Excellent grammar and vocabulary.Familiar with using style guides and style sheets.Versatile research skillsProficiency in the Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs).Ability to prioritise, organise, and manage tasksEnthusiasm for learning new niches and writing about them.What’s on OfferOn Boarding Process: As part of the on boarding process, you will come through on a probation period of 2 weeks to expedite the process.Job Types: Full-time, Freelance, InternshipSchedule:Flexible shiftMorning shiftCOVID-19 considerations:The job is going to be work-from-home permanently.Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:total work: 1 year (Preferred)
