Job Description : JOB SUMMARY

The Coordinator, Philanthropy will provide stewardship and fiscal support for the assigned Philanthropy team within the region. Cultivates and fosters relationships with a diverse population of donors, volunteers and community leaders as a liaison for driving retention and advance stewardship services. Addresses constituent issues that may arise from donations and pledges by operating in a resilient and focused manner for responding to changing circumstances. Responsibilities will also include supporting the Region Director, Philanthropy while ensuring execution of all philanthropy gift related administration.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as primary liaison in providing support of stewardship and fiscal activities to ensure efficient execution of Philanthropy activities by providing seamless engagement and interaction with donors, potential donors, volunteers, foundations, affluent philanthropists and community leaders.
The position is responsible for overseeing donor services, including database management, gift entry and reconciliation, acknowledgements and stewardship processes, project management and reporting. Coordination of direct response fundraising.
Supports stewardship department deliverables within the region.
Communicates with internal and external customers by demonstrating the highest level of professionalism.
Ensures administration of mailing projects which include multiple direct mail asks targeting donors, potential donors and volunteers.
Attends Philanthropy department meetings and assists with cultivation events and conducts research regarding current and potential donors.
Provides high level administrative support to the Region Director, Philanthropy
Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
