Job Description : LOCATION: Nagpur (Maharashtra)
EDUCATIONAL REQUIRMENTS: CWA/CMA

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bet 10 to 15 yrs of experience in costingmust be having experience with process costing, product costing, MIS, budgeting,

SALARY: Negotiable (based on current CTC and as per relevant experience subjected to interview performance) (approx. salary bracket that can be considered- up to Rs. 15 lpa)

DESIGNATION: designation will vary as per CTC structure/range

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

A) Strategy and Development:
Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practices, cost estimating strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance

B) General and Task Management:
Ensure the organization has a robust cost estimating process in place to meet production/project requirements and in line with quality standardsManage and supervise product costing, process costing, cost break-ups & related workingsSupport continuous improvement through cost engineering techniques and processesConduct internal audits and report on findingsAnalyze and identify key areas of improvement and apply cost estimation techniques to drive cost reductions and aid operational processes and efficiencyUtilize cost methodologies and tools to prepare and maintain reliable and accurate dataFinalize yearly cost audit, face external audit and its queriesEnsure an efficient and effective non-conformity management processAscertain appropriate monitoring, reporting systems (including MIS) and procedures are in place to meet objectivesCoach and develop a high performing cost estimating team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvementsSet department objectives/KPIs, review and assess ongoing performance of direct reportees.

C) Financial Budget and Control:
Hold responsibility for departmental budgets

D) Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performanceEngage with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and implement cost engineering activities in the businessStay up to date with changes and support stakeholders with project changes ensuring all associated costs are identified and tracked against the budgetWork closely with the Purchasing team to ensure purchasing strategies are maximizedSupport supplier meetings and negotiations to challenge quotation prices and aim for cost reductions to meet target costs
