Position : Credentialing Specialist – Remote

Job Description : Job Summary:

Credential and reappointment applications to be sent to payers and facilities on behalf of providers.
Track progress of outstanding applications
Keep current provider records electronically
Assist in obtaining needed documentation from providers
Investigate solutions to problems and determine best course of action
Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

One year of data entry experience
2+ years of experience in credentialing strongly preferred
Proficiency in basic use of computer, telephone, internet, copier, fax, and scanner
Touch-typing skills, 40 wpm required
Basic touch 10 key skills
Basic knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
