Job Description : Crisis Care Phone Operator
JOB SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the Phone Operator will answer crisis hotline calls to triage/screen for behavioral health needs by directing callers to programs and services that are suitable for meeting their needs
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree in Social Services related field preferred but not required.
Develop IM+CANS certified within the first 30 days of employment.
Individuals with lived experience in the Mental Health and/or Substance Use Disorder system are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with public/private community social service resources
Possess good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Possess clinical assessment, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
Able to exercise sound judgment.
Demonstrate the ability to work well as a team player.
