Job Description : Atomic Cartoons is seeking a Current Series Coordinator for our Originals Department. The coordinator will support the Current Series team in creatively shepherding multiple animated television series from development through full production and release.____Atomic Cartoons Inc. is an award-winning animation studio with locations in Vancouver’s Mt. Pleasant Animation District, Ottawa’s Hintonburg neighborhood and LA. Since its inception over 20 years ago, Atomic Cartoons has created and produced numerous 2D and CG animation productions including Last Kids on Earth. Atomic is well known for its artist-friendly culture and flexible work environment. We are always looking for artists of all levels to join our team!____WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Support the Current Series Team in the coordination of multiple series – from late development through production and post-launch.
Coordinate creative material reviews for the Current Series Team, show stakeholders, and partners. Track, consolidate, and relay feedback from all parties.
Act as liaison with Production and communicate with all show teams alongside Manager and Director. This includes help on ancillary show needs, such as Consumer Products, Marketing, Awards or Broadcaster Product Services.
Maintain and track crucial project trackers, filing systems, schedules, talent lists, and distribution lists.
Attend relevant meetings and track meeting agendas, notes and next steps.
Assist with show staffing plans, talent scouting, outreach, and onboarding.
Create show presentations and decks, as needed.
Coordinate with administrative teams to manage the department and show calendars.
Provide creative notes during internal reviews across all aspects of Current Series projects, including but not limited to: designs, scripts, music, casting, animatics, etc.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

1+ years in animation, scripted development/current series or a similar role or 2+ years experience in an assistant role in the animation industry.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented and an ability to keep track of details across multiple projects.
A passion for animation and the creative process, and the ability to maintain long-term collaborative relationships.
Google Suite and Microsoft Office experience.
Adobe Suite experience is an asset for this role.
Currently legally eligible to work in United States.
Current California Residents are preferred for this role.
