Roles and Responsibilities
Designation : Customer Service- Sea Export
The below will be the main areas where you need to perform :
.
CHECKING OF E-MAILS ON THE DAILY BASIS
ACKNOWLEDGING THE MAILS, KEEPING TRACK ON MAILS.
FULFILLING ALL QUERIES FROM THE SHIPPERS REGARDING THE CARTING / STUFFING /BL / DELIVERY DESTINATION.
HANDLING ALL SALES ROUTED BUSINESS & NOMINATION SHIPMENT.
COORDINATION WITH OVERSEAS AGENTS, SHIPPER & SHIPPING LINE.
REPORTING TO THE SHIPPER/AGENTS/CONSIGNEE REGARDING STATUS OF THE CARGO.
COORDINATION WITH THE CFS TEAM KEEPING A TRACK OF ALL REQUIRED BOOKING ON DAILY BASIS.
APPROACHING SHIPPING LINE FOR D.O WITH THE INSTRUCTION FROM CENTRALIZED PRICING TEAM/SALES TEAM.
CHECKING THE RATES OF THE RESPECTIVE PORTS BEFORE PLACING THE BOOKING.
FOLLOWUP WITH THE SHIPPING LINE TO RECEIVE THE D.O AT THE EARLIEST.
DEALING WITH THE VARIOUS TRANSPORTERS FOR ARRANGING DELIVERY.
DAILY, WEEKLY, MONTHLY REPORTING TO OPERATIONS REGARDING VARIOUS SHIPMENTS & ITS UP-TO-DATE STATUS.
REGULAR FOLLOW UP WITH INTERNAL DEPARTMENTS TO GET UPDATES ON CLIENT ISSUES.
HANDLING FOR FACTORY STUFFING & DOC STUFFING.
APPLYING FORM 13 & 11 WITH ODEX AND UPDATING SHIPPING SHIPPING & VGM WITH MMD3 AND SHIPPING LINE PORTAL.
HANDLING & FOLLOWING UP WITH VARIOUS CO-LOADER WITH VARIOUS SHIPMENTS PLANNING.
INVOICING THE SHIPMENT INVOICES WITH CORRECT RATES FOR SHIPMENT WITHIN TIME BOND.
ARRANGING LINER PAYMENTS. UPDATING CUSTOMERS WITH POST SHIPMENT & WITH FINAL DELIVERY STATUS.
Desired Candidate Profile
Previous experience within Freight Forwarding industry is necessary.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as this role requires daily liaison with clients and networking capabilities
Good Numeric and analysis Skills
