Position : Customer Service Representative – Manufacturing (Hybrid Schedule)

Job Description : This is a direct-hire, hybrid position in Downtown Chicago.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Salary: $50,000 to $65,000
Our client, a multinational steel corporation, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to add to their team.
Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Support the sales team within the U.S. and/or Canada selling markets.
Analyzes purchase orders from customers for entry into systems.
Communicate with customers by responding to requests and ensuring overall satisfaction.
Work closely with internal representatives to ensure technical specs of orders are entered accurately.
Send regular status updates and confirmations on orders to customers.
Follow and track production delays to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Coordinate shipping with internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
Gather and forward proper shipping documentation to the logistics team.
Responsible for ensuring that customers receive invoices for shipments.
Other duties and projects as assigned.

Customer Service Representative Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors or Associates degree preferred
Minimum 3+ years customer service experience preferred
SAP or ERP system experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel

This is a direct-hire hybrid position in Downtown Chicago.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Salary: $50,000 to $65,000
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
