Position SummaryHeiTech Services is looking to fill a customer service based Help Desk Specialist working with phone and email.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Use e-mail processing and databases to enter, track, and respond to incoming e-mail inquiries and phone calls requiring response.
Respond to electronic inquiries (e-mails from external and internal customers) in accordance with established policies and procedures and Federally approved scripts.
Answer and respond to telephone calls in a courteous, business-like manner utilizing established policies and procedures and Federally approved scripts.
Identify appropriate parties to whom directed and/or specialized inquiries should be routed for response, and follow up to ensure response is sent.
Prepare a variety of documents, correspondence, and reports using word processing and database software.
Analyze and document trends in customer inquiries.
Comply with program regulations, technical guidance, and standard operating procedures.
Demonstrate the capacity and knowledge to ask appropriate questions for specific information from the “caller” to assist in providing accurate and timely responses.
When necessary, conduct additional research and coordinate responses from the NPC staff and others to provide accurate, fully informed and timely information.
Perform all tasks with a high degree of customer service and professionalism.
Use databases and spreadsheets to keep a record of work completed.
Work in a high-pressure work environment with the ability to interact with people at all levels.

Analytical Thinking: Research and resolve problems by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.
Organizational Skills: Prioritize work and plan and manage time effectively using multi-tasking skills to accomplish workload goals and complete assignments within appropriate time frame.
Ability to Adapt: Adjust to frequent changes in policies and procedures; demonstrate flexibility and initiative in daily work.
Communication: Efficiently share acquired program and medical knowledge with staff, claimants, doctors, vendors, and representatives; tailor written communication, language and telephone etiquette to effectively reach an audience.

Minimum Education and Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.*
– OR –

Work experience of five (5) years in a field or discipline that demonstrates specific analytical and communication skills, both orally and in writing.
Must be able to pass a government public trust clearance
