Northrop Grumman, Space Systems, is currently recruiting for a Customer Services Representative at the Promontory UT facilities.
This candidate takes and processes transactions by telephone, internet, and correspondence from customers and representatives. Enters and maintains database records of customer profiles and prepares and maintains status reports. Acts as liaison for customers. Maintains knowledge of company products and customer service processes.
The Customer Services Representative must have knowledge of the following:

Experience using document management systems
Working knowledge of document management processes
Understanding of databases and/or reference systems
Must be computer literate and current on new technology such as Microsoft Office suite
Communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal)
Effective listening and reading comprehension skills

Skills & Abilities:

Solve problems by utilizing training, knowledge, tools and analytical skills while on a call or processing a transaction
Demonstrate the ability to translate complex information into a logical, concise presentation (written and verbal)
Strong attention to details – interested in preventing errors and solving problems
Able to grasp information quickly and probe effectively where additional information is required
Demonstrate excellence in organizational and time management skills
Ability to interact with all types of customers (external, internal, vendors) and different levels of management
Confident phone presence and exceptional customer service skills are a must

Job Responsibilities:

Provide internal and external customers with electronic and hard copy document processing and storage services, document provisioning, and knowledgebase updates
Process updates to the knowledgebase system (Maximo)
Identify gaps in knowledgebase content, research necessary additions, deletions, or changes, and submit recommendation to knowledgebase administrator
Process document transactions utilizing case studies and desktop procedures
Answer questions related to the transactions
Answer customer requests by accessing information in multiple systems on the computer
Resolve customer problems by researching issues and taking additional steps as required. Route/refer cases for advanced support. Follow up with customer cases until completion.
Document customer issues, research, and actions taken into the case management system. Accurate and complete documentation skills utilizing case management systems and Microsoft products.
Perform other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
Previous experience interacting with customers in a service environment required.
Strong customer service, problem solving and technology skills.

Salary Range: $31,200 USD – $46,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
