Job Description : Responsibilities
The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Staff Research Associate to join the UCLA Depression Grand Challenge (DGC). Our program of research is aimed at collecting a longitudinal cohort of adult participants, including individuals with depression, from multiple sites within UCLA. Primary duties include:
Ensuring quality data are continuously collected from a high volume of participants in support of research aims
Daily monitoring of compliance dashboard or database reports to identify and track gaps in data
Contact participants and follow troubleshooting protocols; document all activity
Provide reports to Project Director and study sponsor when requested of issues encountered, troubleshooting workflows, and participant feedback
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Neuropsychology, Psychology or related field (preferred) Post-graduate work experience in human clinical research studies or in settings with direct relevant patient contact, or professional experience with digital health, smart health, behavioral health technologies (preferred) Familiarity with different mobile devices and applications Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with smartphones and smartwatches with a wide range of individuals Strong computer skills including word processing, e-mail systems, file transfer, spreadsheets, neurocognitive testing software, data entry, and database maintenance Ability to enter data and maintain study records
