SUMMARY
We are growing and thrilled to be adding a Data Quality Representative to our team. The Data Quality Representative assures improvement in quality of the data across our supplier customer database by checking for errors or discrepancies daily, working with the supplier to fix the errors found or correcting on behalf of the supplier when applicable, and coming up with enhancements or ideas for automating processes to reduce the number of similar errors in the future.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform quality checks on submitted data and documents
Document results of quality checks for reporting and benchmarking
Escalate recurring issues to TLs for coaching opportunities
Identify system errors/bugs and report to appropriate team
Identify potential system improvement to help reduce quality errors by the end user and submit ideas to appropriate team
Reach out to suppliers to request necessary information/clarification to fix mistakes
Assist training team optimizing verification certification program
Provide weekly reporting of data quality trends and efforts
Complete any other duties as assigned by your manager
METRICS THAT MATTER:
Help team achieve 15%+ quality checks on submissions during Annual Update Season (Jan – Apr)
Help team achieve 50%+ quality checks on submissions during off season (May – Dec)
Help team maintain 100% quality checks on all new hires
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1+ year of experience in a data quality role
Meticulous attention to detail, in both your own work and when reviewing others’
A strong drive for results and good multitasking skills
Problem solving skills
