We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Risk Data Platform Head
In this role, you will:
Risk Data and Enterprise Reporting’s diverse and critical responsibilities give rise to a wide range of technology demands spanning:
Risk Aggregation and reporting for global and regional regulatory reporting requirements
Building and managing a global, hybrid multi-cloud data mesh for Risk Business Users
The Risk Data Platform Head (Development Manager) is responsible for leading the infrastructure pods to ensure that the platform is compliant, secure & resilient & scales with the delivery of the regulatory reporting and real-time data requests in Risk Data and Enterprise Response.
The role may involve some functional/line management responsibilities of the DER resources based in Hyderabad & London. This person’s primary accountabilities are to the Radar Platform Head.
Own & manage the Risk Data Platform (RDP) and the various software components that supplement it
Work with the Radar Platform Head to set the strategy for RDP and then execute upon it
Act as a SME on the design and implementation of the technology solutions to meet the needs of the DER function on a tactical and strategic basis
Be the point of contact for various DER platform work streams
Introduce new practices, processes, techniques, products, services, technologies and standards where needed against identified use cases, via the appropriate governance bodies
Act as a trusted advisor to the Radar Platform Head and Head of Radar Programme Delivery (IT) lead in creating a trust-based management culture with a high level of effective communication globally
Be a champion for pragmatic and sustainable cloud adoption and re-platforming
Accountable for ensuring compliance of the products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework and technical currency (in line with published standards and guidelines) and, with the architecture function, implementation of the business imperatives.
The role holder must work with the Risk IT and Enterprise Technology IT communities of practice to maximize automation, increase efficiency and ensure that best practice, and the latest tools, techniques and processes have been adopted
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Successful track record of managing projects within data domain involving both OnPrem and Cloud ecosystems
Experience in handling projects involving large and complex data processing and reporting needs for regional and global regulations
Experience of rolling out automation for app & infrastructure
Experience of making complex design decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, balancing advancing strategy, immediate business needs and potential long-term risks and implications
Experience of Agile
Experience in managing cross-culture and global teams
Built effective networks internally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively
Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences including senior executives, business, architecture and IT delivery
