Job Description : Experienced Copy/Document Clerk needed for busy law firm preparing for trial
This is a project role slated to start on April 1 and estimated to go through the middle or end of May.Great for someone looking for “gig” work (office professional in between jobs, student, restaurant worker looking to gain professional office experience, etc.)
Seeking a motivated and energetic candidate that can work at a fast pace while assuring quality work along the way.
Pay rate: $25.00/hour, free meals, and possible transportation reimbursement depending on the schedule assigned
Hours:
April 1-April 11th for training:
8am-4pm
April 11th-duration of assignment
Either 4pm-midnight (12am) OR 11pm-7am
Main duties:

Copying, printing, scanning, binding a high volume of documents using technology/hardware
Edit documents using MS Office products as needed for clean printing output
Convert documents to various image formats as needed
Assist in setting up food and beverage -you will get free meals on this assignment!
You will work alongside a team member at all times for training and guidance

Candidate profile:

1+ years of office experience, ideally in a copy center setting but other backgrounds with transferable skills will be considered
Experience using printing equipment and scanners
Comfortable with MS Office suite and any knowledge of Adobe or imaging products a plus
Troubleshooting skills (ie, if printer not functioning correctly, document needs editing to print correctly etc)
Strong communication skills and able to effectively update peers and attorneys on project status
Must be fully vaccinated and able to work on site at their office located in downtown Chicago

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 per hour

Night shift
