SIT Social: A Dog Lounge is a 5 star rated, woman owned, small business thriving in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago.
We are seeking an experienced (previous dog daycare/training/handling experience) freelance dog lounge assistant with a very flexible schedule to work part time on weekdays and/or weekends to supplement our growing business.

JOB DUTIES
This role has 3 core components
Dog Handling A Pack: Skilled handling of dog playgroup/personalities & keeping the dogs safe & happy
Customer Interactions: Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, in person that is above & beyond to keep clients happy for events, boarding, daycare, retail sales, etc.
Cleaning: Detail oriented cleaning and sanitizing of the space throughout the shift

CANDIDATE SKILL SETS
Tech savvy (ability to learn technology quickly as we use an app to communicate with our clients daily)
Excellent customer service skills ( ability to interact with clients, build rapport, know them by name, handle their complaints with a smile, and make sure customers are always happy)
People Skills (ability to interact with staff, neighboring vet’s offices, and others – to make friends quickly and network to gain new clients)
Animal Knowledge (understanding of basic animal behaviors and care)
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Experience working with animals (dog walking, dog daycare, etc.)
Experience in customer service
Attention to Detail and Thorough
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
On call
Weekend availability
