Job Description : POSITION PURPOSE: Daily observation and care for all dogs including monitoring during group play.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Interact with guests and employees in a professional, gracious, and friendly manner.
Greet guests immediately with a friendly, sincere welcome. Take incoming/outgoing dogs on leash, understanding of basic harness operation.
Provide observations on health and well-being of all dogs.
Consistently adhere to uniform, grooming and appearance standards.
Maintain clear communication with Leadership Team over walkie-talkies.
Understand basic dog behavior and how to keep dogs safe during play.
Take photos of dogs and provide specific personalized updates.
Cleaning daycare rooms and kennels, including “deep cleaning” projects to maintain facility standards.
Perform temperament assessments of new dogs including detailed descriptions of their introduction to the pack.

. Requirements:

Ability to remain standing for long periods of time, lift 40lbs, and be comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes.
Compassion toward animals and a desire to be around them.
Possess a level of professionalism and confidence to effectively represent our brand and execute the duties of the position.
Ability to make effective judgements and solve problems.
Ability to speak using a clear, pleasant tone of voice, the ability to hear and listen to walkie talkies and in person.
Previous experience in another kennel, shelter, or dog walking preferred.
Weekend and holiday availability required – please do not apply for this position if you are not available on holidays.
