Position Overview:

Creating technical drawings, documents, design layouts, presentation boards, reports, Construction and Operation purposes for building and projects utilizing computer-aided design and drafting (CAD or CADD), Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and other supporting software. The function covers all disciplines including Architectural, Civil, Structural and MEP. Maintains up to date database of all related drawings including As-Built drawings.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

Preparing drawings including architectural, interior, and landscaping design drawings using CAD.
Preparing design options presentations using Photoshop, 3D Max, Illustrator, etc.
Work with interior designers and space planners to prepare modification layouts, space allocation layouts, or relocation layouts.
Working with Senior Engineer to prepare master plans, design proposals or presentations.
Working with management to prepare land utilization presentations.
Maintaining up to date drawings for all the client’s assets.
Maintaining As-Built drawings for all completed projects in the client’s and its Group of Companies.
Conducting site visits and preparing inspection reports.
Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Communications & Working Relationships:
Internal: Has frequent contacts with office space and layout team leader, Sr. Design team leader and Section Head.
External: Frequent contact with service providers and Contractor.

Qualifications

Diploma in Architecture/Interior Design or Architectural drafting.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills.
5 years of experience in drafting including 3 years of specialization in office layout interior design.
Minimum of five years of experience in construction drawings and tender documents.
Minimum of five years of experience in 3D presentations.
Interior design or architectural drafting professional certification.
Good communication skills.
Proficient in ACAD, 3D Max, Adobe Photoshop.
English proficiency.
Good reporting skills.
Time management.
Attention to details.
Good team player.
Communication skills.
