Reports To: EVP, Current Programming and Live Action

The Current Series Coordinator is the main support line for our Executives in Charge of Production for all of our TV Series. This role will work closely with production teams and on each series as well Marketing, and Publicity.

Responsibilities: “What would you say you do here?”
Prepare presentation materials for internal and external partners including decks, sizzle reels and one-sheets
Lead all aspects of the maintenance and distribution of a variety of weekly reports
Read/cover writing samples and other creative materials
Prepare writers lists as needed for open staff positions.
Take notes and transcribe meetings
Attend regular meetings with EIC’s and participate as required
Track competitive news for the family TV market
Provide support in an environment where principles of business and creative development are equally important
Coordinate the generation of additional short form content associated with key franchise properties
Assemble memes, animated gifs, screen grabs for use in Social Media campaigns.
Qualifications/Requirements
An eagerness to learn about and contribute to the current series process
A great teammate with a minimum of 1 year of Assistant experience
High-level attention to detail and ability to prioritize
Strong writing skills (coverage will likely be evaluated during the interviewing process)
Required technical skills Google Mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Photoshop and QuickTime Pro.
Comfortable dealing with high level executives and talent, in a professional and confidential manner
Curiosity about TV comedy and animation
Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal/DreamWorks Animation worksite
Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols
Desired Characteristics
Assistant experience, preferably in an agency, comedy or animation environment
Video editing software is a plus, but not required
A background in graphic design is highly desirable.
