Salary: Per paraprofessional contract Level II
Summer School Dates: Monday through Thursday from July 18-August 11. Some hours will be available the week of July 11th for pre-summer planning and training.
Paraprofessional Hours: 7:45-1:15 pm at Matoska and Oneka Elementary Schools; 8:15-1:45pm at Lincoln Elementary & Central Middle School
Student Level: Students entering grades 1-5
Position Summary:
Performs intermediate human support work providing alternative education and basic skills instructional services to students in general instruction or in a specialized subject or assigned group of subjects, motivating students to develop skill in assigned subject matters while supporting appropriate conduct, speech and attire, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Teacher.
Education and /or Experience:
High school diploma or GED and minimal experience working with school aged children, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates/Technical degree preferred.
Special Requirements:
Must hold AA/AS degree, completed 60 semester credits, approved competency portfolio or pass MN Parapro test
